About the collection
Serti Inversé pieces of jewellery are to be worn as pieces of art: the diamond is elevated above a majestic structure inspired by contemporary sculpture.
To preserve the brightness of your pieces, it is very important to clean them often. We advise you to do that with a soft and dry cloth.
It is recommended to store your jewelries individually in its original box to avoid any damage; contact with other objects may scratch it.
Creation: This shape gives the impression of a twisted single gold ribbon. The inside has an engraved line that gives the impression of 2 assembled parts. This line must be perfectly executed which is a technically difficult process.
Paving/Setting: The diameter of the stones must be very precise because it is placed in a line where everything is visible. They are positioned on different plans but with the surfaces in the same way so that the light reflects. The claws holding the diamond have a very peculiar shape, with flat angles to reflect the light better (called “bec d´aigle”). The bezel has a specific shape: Eiffel tower bezel with only 3 claws. The metal is very lightly visible, giving an impression of a "floating diamond". The position of each stone is essential, and a lot of attention is given to it. Each grain must be made in a consistent way and positioned coherently to the paved stones on the same line with precision so that the light is reflected correctly.
Polish: This is an essential step as it is more difficult to polish square shapes as compared to round shapes. The shape of the rings must not be deformed, with sharp and tense angles.
Assembly: The unique know-how of the Repossi workshops allows the assembly of the various complex parts that compose each piece.
