SPHERE EARRING

Twice a year, Repossi unveils a creative concept piece produced in a limited run.
“Limited Editions” stands as a manifesto of craftsmanship and creativity, giving free
rein to Gaia Repossi and the creative studio: an alliance between the avant-garde spirit
of the Maison and the excellence of Place Vendôme.

Drawing its inspirations from architecture, modern art, Japanese essentialism or ethnic
jewellery, each Limited Edition reinterprets classic codes with bold wearability and
innovative design. Produced in small series, these rare creations are true collectible
works of art.

The new Limited Edition No.7, called the «Sphere Earring», introduces a new design
that delves into the realm of pearls. Inspired by ethnic jewellery rooted in collective
memory, the piece is transformed into a bold and contemporary creation.
The qualities of the pearl is explored and balances perfectly in its composition, echoing
the Maison’s iconic collection
of the floating diamond.

Blending the aesthetic codes of the Pearl Variation ring and ethnic earrings, the design sublimes and expresses a new porté, where the placed gems and pearls gently brush the jawline. The reinvented code is revealed through a frontal view, creating a distinct contrast to the profile composition of Serti sur Vide. Generous curves envelop the earlobe in an unconventional, sculptural way, offering a modern reinterpretation of classic forms.
 

The placement of floating elements, signature of Gaia Repossi’s design language, has become a defining trait of the Maison. The pearl, a symbol of grace and elegance, is modernized and elevated in this design, reimagining the classics with its Serti sur Vide style.
 

The piece evokes classicism and pays tribute to the jewellery symbols of the past up to the 1970s. During this period, the first pearls of the house were set in large, regular, and rare arrangements, creating unique pieces
 

The piece will be available in an edition of fifteen copies exclusively in Repossi boutiques upon request.
